Asset label & QR code generator
Print scannable asset tags for your IT kit, in sequential batches or from your own list. Tag at deployment, audit and disposal so every device has a traceable identity. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored.
Build your labels
Choose how to create asset IDs, pick what each label shows, then print. Labels update live.
Generates IDs like NS-0001, NS-0002, and so on. Maximum 500 per sheet.
12 labels ready to print
From tag to fully tracked disposal
Tagging is the first link in the chain of custody. When this kit reaches end of life, Nanosoft collects it, reconciles every asset against your register, destroys the data to NIST 800-88 Rev.2, and hands you a single audit pack with a certificate per device.
Questions
What does the QR code contain?+
Whatever you choose. By default each QR code holds the asset ID. In URL mode it holds a link made from your base URL plus the asset ID, so scanning it opens your own asset lookup page.
Is my asset data sent anywhere?+
No. The labels and QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored. Close the tab and it is gone.
What can scan these QR codes?+
Any modern phone camera or QR scanning app. They are standard QR codes. In URL mode, scanning opens the link; in ID mode, the scanner shows the asset ID text.
How many labels can I generate at once?+
Up to 500 per sheet, in either sequential or custom-list mode. For larger estates, generate in batches or export your IDs and feed them into a managed asset register.
Note: Standard QR codes generated in your browser. For asset management, a label is only as useful as the register behind it: keep a record linking each ID to its serial, owner and disposal status. This is a free utility, not a substitute for a managed asset register or chain-of-custody system.
